Lincoln has been a part of our life for six months now! He is the happiest little guy I’ve ever met and while he doesn’t like to be put down or away from mama too long, he’s a friendly little bug who loves to smile and talk to everyone!
We’re so happy that he’s in our little family.
He’s been one of our biggest blessings and helped Jake and I to grow together as we’ve had to learn how to parent two kids at once. It’s also been so sweet to see Easton play wth and love on him. That alone makes me want more kids. Lincoln gets the biggest smile when his brother comes home from preschool and it warms my whole heart.
A little more about Lincoln at six months:
-He’s sitting up, rolling over, and army crawling. It’s surprising how quickly he moves away from where I put him, though he’s not quite crawling yet. He has managed to get up on his hands and knees so it won’t be too long now! And I’m already going crazy. Where’s my tiny baby?
-He’s resistant to the whole ‘sleeping through the night without waking up’ idea. It’s a rare occasion that he sleeps more than 4 hours without waking up, which is fine since he’s still nursing, but it’s also exhausting and I’m ready to stop waking up so dang tired. But hey- I do love those baby snuggles.
-He’s been wearing size 6-9 months for the last couple months and is in the 90th percentile for everything except head circumference, he’s 95th percentile there. He’s a big chunky guy! We love all that squishiness though and he’s got the cutest chubby cheeks!
-He talks loudly, is always smiling, but hardly ever laughs. He has a little giggle that he does, but as for full on laughing..nope! It’s rare we even get a chuckle out of him. It’s more of a groan. Which by the way, he makes groaning/growling noises all day long.
-He’s nearly outgrown his Freshly Picked moccs. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been obsessed with Freshly Picked moccasins since before I knew I got pregnant with Lincoln. They’re just so cute and his sweet little Blue Spruce moccs are just adorable! But like I said they’re getting a touch too small. Obviously that means it’s time to buy a new pair.. am I right? I’m thinking either the new Oxford’s which are just *heart eyes* or the TrucksTrucks pair which are adorable!
It’s been a great half a year with our little bub and we’re looking forward to the rest of forever with him. Being a boy mom is so fun, but being a boy mom of two? The best!
